QuickTrip is operated by Quickbit Software Global, based in Malaysia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information related to QuickTrip and its website.

Information We Collect

We may collect and process account information, trip plans, destination data, location-related information, device information, support messages and deletion requests when you use QuickTrip.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate your account, improve the product, provide support, process requests and maintain security.

Storage and Service Providers

Form submissions and app data are stored in Firebase Firestore. Email notifications may be sent using SMTP. If you accept analytics cookies, website usage data is processed by Google Analytics. We only use service providers needed to operate the website and product.

Trip Chat, Reports and Moderation

Messages you post in a trip's crew chat are visible to everyone on that trip. To keep the chat safe, the text of chat messages is checked automatically on our servers and by OpenAI's moderation service, which does not use it to train its models; messages identified as objectionable are removed and kept for our review. If you report a message or a traveler, we store the report, a copy of the reported message and both accounts' names and emails so our team can review it. People you block are stored privately on your account.

Location and Trip Data

QuickTrip is a travel planning product. Future app features may require destination, route and location-related data to provide maps, scheduling and trip planning functionality.

Cookies

The website uses an essential session cookie to protect its forms and, only if you accept, Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to change your choice.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply under laws such as Malaysia PDPA or GDPR-style regulations.
